Site Description: Taiyuan University of Technology, formerly known as the Western Studies Special Studio of National Shanxi University founded in 1902, is one of the earliest three national universities in China. After more than a hundred years of inheritance and development, the school has become a higher education institution that focuses on engineering, combines science and engineering, and coordinates the development of multiple disciplines such as science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law, sports, the United States, and the military. It is the only national "211 Project" key construction university in Shanxi Province and one of the five key universities in the central region of the country.
